Leadership Coaching
Coaching and leadership development for leaders from first time managers to C-Suite executives in small and medium sized businesses.
Historically, executive coaching is reserved for a company’s C-suite level leaders. However, studies have shown an increasing trend of executive coaching down to junior level executives of many organizations, some more than 5 levels below the CEO. In the past, large organizations have not been likely to provide coaching services to leaders two to five levels below the CEO, but are now seeing the incredible ROI in terms of business growth and success for mid-level Executive/ Leadership Coaching.
At Ezer Unfolding, we believe in supporting Businesses and Leadership on multiple levels, and as such, have worked to create variables options for those seeking support.
The Coaching Process
A typical engagement includes meeting with the client weekly or bi-weekly for six months, with the option to extend it further if establishing new goals. Meetings are usually via a video call. The process varies according to individual client need, but usually follows the outline below:
- Initial consulting call – Akpene uses this time to understand the client objective and come to an agreement for the the coaching engagement.
- Comprehensive Assessment – Using intake calls, standardized and validated assessments, we look at working style, behavioral traits, professional interests and direction. We review the assessments and establish next steps.
- Formal Coaching Plan Developed – in partnership with client using all resources gathered.
- Execution of plan and Tracking of Progress for Accountability – Starting each session reviewing progress from the action steps of the previous sessions, working through the obstacles, making adjustments as necessary, we track towards meeting performance, professional, and organizational goals.
